I work at the intersection of art, research, ritual, and rupture.I hold space for transitions, for fractured truths, for reweaving meaning after collapse.Through Kolmas Huone, I offer rituals, guidance, and slow collaborations.Through Katvekulkija, I write and unravel. This site is a portal—not a product.
You’re invited in.
Kolmas Huone (transl. the third room) is the quiet space behind the visible ones— a threshold between the sacred and the everyday, where something still listens, still waits. It was born from a need to gather. To offer. To midwife meaning in a world unraveling its old skins. Here, I offer presence and practice: rituals that breathe, conversations that uncoil, words that don’t rush to fix, and ceremonies that hold the unspoken. Whether you are crossing into grief, into vision, into becoming—this room holds a chair for you. I do not promise clarity, but I will sit with you in the mystery. Bellow you can take a look at my offerings:
One-on-one sessions for those navigating grief, transition, longing, or awakening. I offer presence—not answers. We may speak of loss, of faith, of the unseen. For those preparing for, integrating, or simply holding transformative experiences, such as death, loss or rebirth.
Handcrafted rites for threshold moments—birthdays, weddings, farewells, ancestral remembering. Whether quiet or communal, sacred or playful, each ceremony is created with you, for you.
Talks and gatherings on mysticism, post-mystical life, ritual design, ontological rupture, and embodiment. I hold spaces that invite depth, vulnerability, and humor—the kind that leaves a trace in the body. I try to listen to and speak about what matters most to you.
Spiritual Companionship
For the ones walking through grief, mystery, rupture, or revelation. This is not therapy. It is something older, quieter, more feral. I do not diagnose or fix. I sit with. I stay. Spiritual companionship is a shared space for those navigating inner transitions—death and dying, mystical emergence, psychedelic integration, faith loss or return, identity shifts, sexuality, neurodivergent spirituality, losing soul connection, rage, numbness, sacred disillusionment.I welcome all parts of you, including the ones you’ve been told are too much, too strange, or too holy to name aloud. I do not shy away from what unsettles—grief, god, sex, madness, silence.
My Approach
I am trained in theology (M.Th.), breathwork and integration work, with a background in mysticism, death studies, ritual practice, and intercultural spiritual care. I am not a psychotherapist nor am I bound by organized religion. I am a witness, a weaver, a ritual companion. I work with people of all or no faiths. I am neurodivergent, queer, and trauma-informed. My presence is nonjudgmental, poetic, and precise. I listen between the lines. Each session is a co-created field—an invitation to pause, unfurl, and speak the unspeakable. You do not need to make sense. You do not need to be “on a path.” You are already here.

Rituals & Ceremonies
For the moments when words aren't enough. Birthdays. Departures. Death. The quiet in-between. Sometimes life stretches so wide it asks to be marked. Sometimes grief needs a threshold. Sometimes joy wants a container.I create handcrafted ceremonies for those navigating thresholds of meaning: Farewells (grief, endings, death & dying); Beginnings (birthdays, name-changes, initiations); Ancestral or personal remembrance; Seasonal or nature-based rites; Queer or liminal celebrations that don't fit tradition; Psychedelic integration ceremonies (non-substance based); Or something unnamed that is stirring inside you.Together, we listen to what wants to be witnessed.
My Approach
My rituals are slow-grown. Nothing is copied. We meet. We speak. We listen for symbols, for gestures, for what the moment is asking. The ceremony is then shaped around you— sometimes sacred, sometimes playful, sometimes both. I bring with me my training in theology, ritual studies, and mysticism, as well as my lived experience with grief, death work, queerness, and spiritual transition. I do not offer religious rites—unless requested. What I offer is presence, creativity, and reverence.

Katvekulkija (transl. shadow-wanderer) was born through my need to speak what couldn’t be explained— to move with what stirred inside me, but didn’t belong to me. It came from the spaces where clarity failed, where language loosened, and silence began to hum. The pieces here are not mine. They moved through me, briefly. I tend them, but do not claim them. They belong to the wind, the bones, the unsaid. If you want them, take them. They’ll be yours for a while. But hold on too tightly, and they’ll slip through your fingers— like fog, or grace, or memory. Fragments of poem, image, ritual, and sound— a trail for those who listen slantwise.

About
I was named after magic,
and I have spent my life trying to remember why.I move between disciplines, between languages, between lives. Artist, theologian, researcher, ritualist. A body that has crossed through collapse—more than once—and lived to trace the outlines.I work with what resists articulation: grief that lingers, transitions that rupture, mystical states that refuse to resolve. My practice is not to solve, but to stay—to build forms that can hold contradiction, stillness, and change.Through Kolmas Huone, I offer rituals, workshops, and intimate co-creations for those navigating the in-between. Through Katvekulkija, I write what’s usually unsaid—poems, essays, and shadowed gestures. My academic and artistic work share a devotion: to give shape to the sacred, even when it trembles.I believe in what does not scale.
In the work that begins in silence.
In slowness as a form of resistance.
Taika Nummi (b. 1997, Helsinki) is a Finnish theologian, poet and artist-researcher working at the intersection of mysticism, embodiment, and ontological rupture. She holds degrees in economics (M.Sc. Econ. in Information Service Systems, Aalto University) and theology (M.Th. in Intercultural Encounters, University of Helsinki). Her academic path has included studies in anthropology (Stanford University), sociology (University of Zurich), and East Asian philosophy (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology), reflecting an ongoing search for frameworks capable of holding multiplicity, contradiction, and the sacred — a search also shaped by her fluency in English, Finnish, and Swiss German, and her broader linguistic engagement with standard German, Swedish, Russian, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese. Her embodied background includes a 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India; time spent as a layperson in monasteries in China and Thailand; participation in indigenous ceremonies in Brazil; a youth spent racewalking at the international level; and a deep, tangled relationship with movement, discipline, and surrender. Her work spans ritual design, poetic inquiry, and post-mystical integration.
